Welcome to Ordinary Family Life: Delegated Authority and the New Fostering Standards. In this course we look at why ordinary life matters so much to children in care, how delegated authority lets carers say yes to everyday things, and why identity decisions for global majority children must never wait. We finish with the government's 2026 proposals for new fostering standards.
