All-Access includes every course published during your 12 months. It does not renew automatically. To continue, buy a new year at the price shown at the time.
When you enrol, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to view the course for your own learning during your access period. You may not copy, download, record, resell, share or publicly show course materials, or use them to train others, without our written permission. All course content, including text, narration, images and the frameworks referred to in our courses, belongs to us or our licensors.
You receive a certificate of completion when you pass a course's final quiz (80% or more). Certificates confirm completion of BFCA Academy training for your continuing professional development. They are not a formal qualification unless a course page states that it carries a specific accreditation.
Fostering services, local authorities and other organisations can buy places for their staff or carers. The organisation is responsible for the learners it enrols and for paying our invoice within 30 days, unless we agree otherwise in writing. The organisation can see its learners' enrolments, progress and certificates, as explained in our privacy policy. Separate written terms may apply to larger contracts. If they do, they take priority over these terms.
Our courses give general training and guidance. They are not legal, clinical or safeguarding advice about a particular child or situation. Always follow your organisation's policies, your local safeguarding procedures and the advice of the child's social worker. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
We work hard to keep courses accurate and up to date with law and guidance in England. Law and guidance change, so we review courses regularly and may update, replace or retire content.
Do not misuse the site, try to access other people's accounts, upload anything unlawful or harmful, or interfere with how the site works.
We aim to keep the Academy available at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance. If a problem stops you using a course you paid for, contact us and we will put it right, for example by extending your access.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you also have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that these terms do not affect.
We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. For organisations, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the training concerned.
We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase. We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top.
If you have a problem, email support@bfcaacademy.co.uk and we will aim to reply within 5 working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
