Title: Software & Computer Systems Technician II

Pay Rate: $23.00 $26.50/hour DOE

Employment Type: Contract 12 months

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Standard Business Hours - 100% Onsite or Hybrid (depending on business needs)

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Software & Computer Systems Technician II to work with our client, a leading global technology and manufacturing company. As a W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits.

Job Summary

The Software & Computer Systems Technician II will focus on software development and systems integration within the Autodesk ecosystem, specifically leveraging Autodesk APIs and Fusion Manage workspaces. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom software solutions that enhance product lifecycle management (PLM) workflows, automate data exchange, and improve user experience across Autodesk platforms.

The ideal candidate is an experienced developer with strong analytical and communication skills who can work collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Autodesk Vault, Fusion Manage APIs, and other Autodesk web services
  • Create and customize Fusion Manage workspaces to support and optimize business processes
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions
  • Manage the software development lifecycle, including version control, testing, deployment, and documentation within a Git environment
  • Ensure code quality, consistency, and best practices across platforms and integrations
  • Contribute to process improvement and the evolution of system development standards
  • Train new team members on established tools, workflows, and procedures

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of Autodesk APIs , Fusion Manage workspace configuration, and PLM concepts
  • Proficiency in C# and JavaScript , with hands-on experience in web development and RESTful API integration
  • Experience using Git for version control and Visual Studio for development
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to implement standard procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Capable of solving moderately complex technical problems independently and contributing to collaborative team solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated initiative in continuous improvement and workflow optimization

Desired Skills

  • 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in a PLM or CAD-integrated environment
  • Prior experience working with Autodesk Vault , Fusion Manage , or similar PLM platforms
  • Experience developing within enterprise-scale environments with structured release processes

  • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Education

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , Information Systems , or a related technical discipline preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered
