Job Description

Role:Senior Data Analyst
Duration: Full Time
Location: Dallas, TX

Client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong data product ownership capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and product leadership, with streaming data, and cloud platforms. This role is pivotal in driving data strategy, governance, and insights across the organization.



Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data product ownership roles.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Experience working with streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming).
Understanding blockchain data structures, smart contracts, and transaction flows.
Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data catalog tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Microsoft Purview).
Data Stewardship & Governance
Experience managing business glossaries, metadata, and data lineage.
Understanding of data quality frameworks and issue resolution processes.
Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Product & Communication Skills
Ability to define and prioritize data product features and enhancements based on stakeholder input.
Strong communication skills to translate technical data insights into business value.
Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Data Product Ownership Skills
Define and prioritize data product features and enhancements based on stakeholder needs and business goals.
Act as the bridge between business users, data engineers, and developers to ensure alignment on data product vision and delivery.
Owning the roadmap for data assets and analytics capabilities related to blockchain and streaming data sources.
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyze large-scale datasets from Decentralized networks and streaming platforms to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making across compliance, operations, and product teams.
Translate complex data into clear narratives and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data Integration & Quality Skills
Collaborate with engineering teams to validate data ingestion pipelines for real-time and batch processing.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across blockchain transactions and streaming feeds.
Define and monitor data quality metrics and lead resolution of data issues.

Data Modeling & Documentation Skills
Contribute to the design of data models that support blockchain event structures and high-velocity streaming data.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions, lineage, and usage guidelines.
Support metadata management and ensure datasets are discoverable and well-described in the data catalog.

Governance & Compliance Skills
Ensure data handling practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance policies.
Collaborate with data stewards to maintain data classifications and access controls, especially for sensitive blockchain data
