Actual pay rate dependent upon experience._ $19.25 - $24.00 **Position Highlights** Sunday-Tuesday 6:00pm-6:00am; 72 hours Night pay a plus! Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible to provide security for patients, employees, and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assesses, and premises as assigned. Also provides traffic control and maintains parking lots and structures. **What you will do** + Patrol hospital buildings and premises to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and intruders. + Monitor conduct of visitors on hospital premises. Confront unauthorized persons for questioning as needed. + Report safety and/or fire hazards or security violations. + Respond to inquiries for advice or assistance from hospital personnel, students, and visitors. Provide restraints for psychiatric patients as needed. Escort personnel to parking lots and hospital buildings as requested. + Participate in investigations; Maintain records and prepare incident reports and other documents pertinent to security activities. + Secure and/or unlock offices and facilities as required. May secure patient valuables or lost and found articles. Maintains log of items received. + Control parking and traffic flow. Enforce parking regulations. + Respond to all emergency codes and security requests (i.e. Staff Assist, Security Alert, Fire alarms). Respond to CARE Flight operations as needed. + Mentors security interns in the role of security. Serves as a liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
