Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies for raw materials and components.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers while managing existing vendor relationships and performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
• Implement and manage inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and prevent disruptions.
• Ensure all purchased materials meet quality standards and regulatory compliance for manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in negotiation, strategic sourcing, and vendor relationship management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with advanced ERP/MRP system implementation or optimization
• Fluency in a second language relevant to global sourcing
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
