Yes Job Summary/Basic Function We seek to hire a print shop manager that will oversee print shop operations, manage and maintain printing equipment, perform administrative duties within the print shop and print and package printing job requests from campus partners. The ideal candidate will be a customer service oriented, self-motivated, organized team member with an eye for design and have a desire to work in a solo setting in the print shop. This position works collaboratively with stakeholders across campus to print, package and deliver a wide variety of printed materials. Position Responsibilities 1. Manage all incoming print projects from intake to delivery 2. Maintain printing equipment 3. Inventory management 4. Administrative and billing management 5. Support communications and marketing efforts during slower work times as needed Minimum Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree or digital print shop and bindery experience Preferred Qualifications Skills and Abilities: · Ability to learn and understand computer and printing software - An eye for graphic design
- Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Experience using and managing projects through project management software
- Understanding of printing processes
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
