Part-Time Nanny in Wellesley, MA

A family in Wellesley, MA is seeking a dependable and caring part-time nanny to provide childcare for two children, ages 3 and 8. The nanny will support the family by assisting with various childcare duties and light housekeeping. This position is ideal for an individual who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working with children in a busy household.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Hours: 25 hours per week
Pay Rate: $30 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Type: Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

• Childcare: The nanny will be responsible for caring for the children, especially when the mother is attending to other tasks.
• Bedtime Assistance: While one child is put to bed, the nanny will engage and entertain the other child.
• Light Housekeeping: The nanny will assist with light tidying around the home, including cleaning up after meals and keeping areas organized.
• Play and Activities: The nanny will accompany the 8-year-old to visit neighbors and engage in outdoor or indoor activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to assist with light housekeeping.
• A valid driver’s license is required (though no driving is required during work hours).
• Provide 3-5 professional references
• Must have U.S. work authorization
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
