Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to repair, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Electrician will perform hands-on electrical work involving power distribution, control systems, motors, and electronic components, ensuring machinery and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components for machines, conveyors, and automated equipment.
• Follow electrical codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to perform accurate installations and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in electrical and electronic components using meters, voltage testers, and circuit analyzers.
• Replace or repair defective components such as relays, switches, circuit boards, transformers, and electric motors.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines or facility upgrades.
• Collaborate with mechanical and maintenance teams to identify and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Test and verify repairs to ensure systems meet operational and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including parts used and system readings.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting procedures .
• Familiarity with industrial automation, PLCs, robotics, and control systems .
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams .
• Proficient with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment .
• Must follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
• Journeyman or Electrical License preferred but not required.
