Logistics Assistant (Entry Level)

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (75261) | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $20–$24/hour
• Monday–Friday | 8:30am–5:30pm

ROLE IMPACT

As an Entry-Level Logistics Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the movement of international cargo into the U.S. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll learn the entire import process from the ground up. You’ll receive full training, work closely with experienced logistics professionals, and build foundational skills that open doors throughout the global trade and supply chain industry.

This is an ideal role for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to grow !

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor international flight arrivals and coordinate cargo transfers to local warehouses
• Assist with customs clearance steps and import documentation
• Track and update shipment statuses in internal systems
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Process invoices and verify billing accuracy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Clear, professional communication (phone & email)
• Comfortable multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Freight tracking & billing systems ( training provided )
• Email and internal collaboration tools

PREFERRED SKILLS

(Not required — you’ll receive training!)

• 1–2 years of logistics, import, or customer service experience
• Ability to stay proactive and calm when priorities shift
• Flexibility for occasional weekend or adjusted hours
