Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in San Jose, California. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about supporting HR operations. The position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including recruitment coordination, scheduling, and general office support. Responsibilities: - Perform accurate and efficient data entry to maintain personnel records and other HR documentation. - Assist in the recruitment process by prescreening candidates through questionnaires and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers. - Organize and maintain schedules for HR-related activities and meetings. - Manage filing systems to ensure documents are properly stored and easily accessible. - Print and prepare materials for HR processes and events. - Support onboarding processes by coordinating necessary documentation and ensuring compliance. - Conduct background checks and verify employment details as part of recruitment efforts. - Provide assistance with employee relations tasks, addressing inquiries and escalating issues when necessary. - Utilize HRIS systems to update employee information and generate reports. Requirements - Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role. - Familiarity with HRIS platforms and ability to navigate related systems. - Knowledge of onboarding processes and compliance requirements. - Strong communication skills for interacting with candidates, employees, and managers. - Experience conducting background checks and handling sensitive information. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools.
