Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in City of Industry, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations and maintaining organized records. Responsibilities: - Organize and manage electronic HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. - Download, review, and categorize documents in the system, primarily in Spanish. - Assist with onboarding processes, including document verification and employee setup. - Support employee relations activities by providing administrative assistance. - Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with company policies. - Utilize HRIS systems to maintain and update employee information. - Collaborate with team members to streamline HR workflows and processes. - Prepare reports and summaries as required by management. - Maintain adherence to business casual dress code while performing daily tasks. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office or administrative role. - Proficiency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is required. - Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail. - Familiarity with HRIS systems and electronic record management. - Experience with onboarding processes and background checks. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
