Group Sales Reservations Specialist Hotel Sales Location Durant, OK :

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Group Sales Reservation Specialist manages all Group Housing rooming lists, set up routing to ensure billing, create all corporate rate reservations and to enable communication between Conference Services, Group Sales, Front Desk and Call Center. This role is necessary to ensure accuracy Group blocks, billing and communication between departments involved with Group and Corporate guests. You will report to the Director of Sales.

Start Rate $23.00/Hour | Full Time | Shift Variable

Primary Tasks:

1. You will be responsible for managing all Group reservation rooming lists/requests and rooming list changes submitted by clients.

2. Route all group and corporate reservations to ensure accurate billing.

3. Fulfill client reservation requests received from Sales Managers for all Corporate Negotiated Rates.

4. Communicate with group and corporate clients by email and phone.

5. You will ensure accuracy of 60-day Group pick-up report. Ensure that cut-off report is updated with current pick-up each week.

6. Attend weekly pick-up meetings and make note of changes in PMS system.

7. Coordinate group blocks with Conference Services managers to ensure cut-off dates are followed.

8. Set up reservation links when requested by group clients.

9. You will act as liaison to call center to assist with group reservation questions or challenges.

10. Create all purchase order requests of group business.

11. Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

• Proficient knowledge of group routing process in PMS system.

• Previous experience with group sales reservation rooming list process

• Previous experience with Purchase order processes.

• Two (2) years prior Four-Diamond Hotel/Resort experience.
