ProGuard Roofing is a growing brand in the home improvement industry, providing high-quality roofing and home solutions that protect and enhance our customers' homes. We are passionate about delivering exceptional service and engaging with our community. We are currently seeking a  Event Coordinator to represent our brand at local events and home shows in the Charlotte area on the weekends.

Position Overview:
This is a part-time,  weekends-only role ideal for someone with 1–2 years of event experience who enjoys engaging with the public, promoting home services, and generating qualified leads. You’ll work independently to staff our event booth, interact with attendees, and schedule in-home consultations for roofing services. You will also assist in sourcing new vendors and finding events for us to participate in.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend and represent ProGuard Roofing at local trade shows, fairs, and community events on weekends.
• Set up and tear down event booth and materials (light lifting required).
• Engage with event attendees in a friendly, professional manner.
• Explain our services and highlight key benefits.
• Collect leads and schedule free in-home roofing consultations.
• Ensure booth is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Track and report basic event metrics and lead data after each event.
• Help identify new vendors and schedule future local events for our company to participate in.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience working at events, trade shows, or in-person marketing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable initiating conversations.
• Self-motivated and dependable with a professional appearance.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to and from events in the Charlotte area and valid driver's license.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate plus bonuses for each appointment set.
