Senior Estimator General Commercial

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications
Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop a large multi-disciplinary estimates
Determine labor and equipment costs
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
Understand project logistics and project schedule
Understand all bid documents and assess project risks
Review quotes and estimates with the project team
Prepare estimates and different levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.)
Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers
Serve as company interface between owner & architect
Responsible for developing leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subs and project team
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or similar field
Experience working on large multi-million-dollar projects exceeding $5Million dollars
Advanced computer skills with estimating software
Effective presentation skills
Advanced Computer skills with MS Office
Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
Understand all aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects
