Salary: $41,600 - 41,600 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with a completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. You should possess zero to two years of experience in personal or professional projects related to software development. Familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript for backend service projects or internships is advantageous. You should also have a solid understanding of relational data modeling and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL. Familiarity with GraphQL concepts, basic Git/GitHub usage, and CI/CD principles is expected. Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take ownership of small projects from start to finish will set you apart.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, I will have you implement backend features using TypeScript within a microservice architecture. You will build and maintain GraphQL schemas/resolvers and internal APIs, write SQL queries, contribute to PostgreSQL migrations, and assist with query tuning. Additionally, you will add tests—both unit and integration—fix any bugs, and take part in code reviews. I will expect you to instrument services with essential logging/metrics and keep documentation current. You’ll also have a chance to contribute to CI workflows using GitHub Actions and work within containerized local development environments like Docker.

This position requires you to work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. Our compensation starts at $15/hour for current Computer Science students and $20/hour for graduates, transitioning to $25/hour after three months in the role.
