Ready to be a part of something monumental? Unimacts is on the cutting edge of contract manufacturing and supply chain management in the solar and wind sectors. With operations spanning the globe - from North America to Europe and Asia - we’re making waves in renewable energy markets. The groundbreaking Inflation Reduction Act has positioned us for unparalleled growth in the solar industry. Backed by esteemed venture capital firms, our parent company supports globally recognized, VC-backed enterprises. It’s an electrifying time to join us!

Unimacts Global is on an exciting growth trajectory, and we're seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to steer our financial course and amplify our success. In this key position, you will be leading our financial strategy, combining extensive experience in capital management with the ability to manage the intricacies of growth and scaling effectively. You'll join a cadre of top-tier professionals, driving financial analysis, strategic planning, and robust growth. The ideal candidate is a seasoned strategist well-versed in the intricacies of capital raising, adept at pivoting through fluctuating business landscapes, from expansion to consolidation. As a key figure in our senior management, you'll embody leadership, marked by clarity in communication and decisiveness in action.

Objectives of This Role:

  • Assume comprehensive responsibility for the organization's financial health, encompassing cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic hiring.
  • Spearhead the development of annual and capital budgets, ensuring meticulous financial reporting and strategic alignment with our overarching goals.
  • Optimize cash flow to support operational efficacy, overseeing accounting, reporting, and internal controls, ensuring a seamless financial operation.
  • Champion the adoption of industry-best practices, fostering an environment of fiscal responsibility, efficient project coordination, and effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Navigate compliance with financial legislation diligently, adapting to new regulations proactively to uphold financial integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively work with senior management to craft budget proposals, ensuring seamless access to finance information and compliance with contracts and grants.

  • Proactively seek revenue opportunities, gauge economic trends, scrutinize internal operations for cost-saving measures, and champion process improvements.

  • Implement comprehensive risk management strategies, evaluating company liabilities, investments, and optimizing capital structure and fundraising efforts.

  • Utilize advanced tracking tools to monitor business performance, initiating corrective actions as necessary, and delivering comprehensive reports to stakeholders.

  • Lead the finance team with vigor, overseeing financial IT systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance with entities like the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the IRS.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in Accounting, Business Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 (five) years in executive leadership roles, demonstrating financial acumen and strategic foresight.
  • Extensive experience with international finance, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
  • Insightful experience in executive roles within manufacturing or industrial business models, including nuanced understanding of revenue recognition.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar.
  • Unwavering leadership qualities, underscored by integrity and resolve.
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial strategies across all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in advanced accounting, regulatory navigation, and strategic tax planning.
  • Proficient in capital raising strategies beyond conventional credit facilities.

This is your chance to make a significant impact in a challenging and rewarding role within a global, forward-thinking company. If you're ready to lead, innovate, and drive financial excellence, we want to hear from you.
