Experienced Certified Special Education Teacher Needed - Remainder of 2025-2026 School Year Amergis Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for a full-time, in-person role. This opportunity is for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year and offers competitive pay and full benefits. Position Details + Contract Length: Through end of 2025-2026 school year (approx. 25 weeks) + Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5-40 hours/week Classroom Overview + Autism-focused classroom in an alternative school setting + 3 students: 2 high school, 1 middle school + Students present aggressive behaviors; one student elopes + Ideal candidates will have experience in high-behavior classrooms and alternative school environments Required Qualifications + Active U.S. SPED Teaching Certification in one of the following: + Intellectual Disabilities + Emotional Disabilities + Multi categorical + Bachelor's Degree (preferred) + Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred) + CPR certification (if applicable) Why Join Us?
