**Summary**
CHS is hiring an Associate Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hybrid position working in office 3 times a week. The primary work would be supporting Financial Shared Services department through performing cash accounting related entries and reconciliations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Help ensure that financial reports are completed on time, in accordance with GAAP principles, and that they accurately reflect financial position.
+ Complete assigned daily ledger entries and other financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles to ensure the general ledger is accurate and up-to-date.
+ Collect and compile financial information and assist team members with accurate and timely preparation of financial reports for senior management.
+ Support the cash accounting team through reconciliation of cash related accounts.
+ Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
**Minimum Qualifications (required)**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field
+ Knowledge of Finance and/or Accounting
**Additional Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
+ Knowledge of modern accounting and office methods and procedures
+ Must possess a solid foundation in accounting fundamentals
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others to obtain, share, verify and validate information
+ Proficiency in MS Office suite
+ Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
