Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp) Location Hybrid remote :

We're Looking For An: Accounts Payable Specialist ( Temporary ) who will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payments. This position involves managing vendor communications and undertaking supplementary projects to support the month-end close process.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform 3-way matching by reviewing receiving documentation, incoming invoices, check requests, and expense reports for accuracy. Obtain proper signature authorization and investigate and escalate variances when necessary.
• Code documentation and invoices to appropriate accounts, ensuring the prompt payment of all invoices and maximizing purchase discounts whenever feasible.
• Execute bank account reconciliations during month-end close to uphold accurate financial records. Verify the receipt of proper documentation and approvals before processing payments.
• Handle urgent check requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform monthly vendor reconciliations, proactively resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Ensure the generation of timely and accurate Accounts Payable (A/P) Aging reports.
• Maintain organized files in the Accounts Payable area through filing, scanning, and meticulous record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Experience in a high-paced, high-volume Accounts Payable (A/P) department spanning multiple entities.
• Proficiency in Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Word, with a solid grasp of Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
• Quick and accurate adaptation to learning and following procedures. Effective interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with individuals across the organization and with external vendors.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of autonomously identifying issues and proposing effective resolutions.
• Customer service-oriented approach to tasks and interactions.
• Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accuracy in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• 3 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience working with large ERP Systems
• 4 years of experience in accounts payable experience in e-commerce preferred
• Experience working in a fully digitalized environment preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Associate degree preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $21.06 - $28.13/hour. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
