Job Description

About the Role

Operate conventional equipment, special-purpose machines, and CNC machining centers to produce parts precisely to customer specifications. Multiple shift options are available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Core Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications; evaluate sample parts to define dimensions, tolerances, sequences, and tooling changes (inserts, drills, etc.).
• Measure sample pieces to verify alignment with finishing specifications before and during runs.
• Start up, observe, and fine-tune machine operations; correct out-of-tolerance conditions and malfunctions using machine controls or control media.
• Perform inspection tasks and, when required, statistical analysis of processes to sustain quality levels.
• Support machine teardowns; confirm final part conformance to requirements.
• Partner with engineers, production personnel, programmers, and others to solve machining or assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workstation; take on other duties as assigned.
• Uphold attendance and punctuality standards: be consistently present and on time, ensure coverage when absent, and arrive at meetings/appointments promptly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalence and/or at least 2 years of machining experience.
• Ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency with calculators, computers, and technical references.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve practical problems within job scope.
